Maasdam (cheese)

Maasdam (cheese)

This semi-hard cheese originates from the Netherlands. It is yellow in color, has large holes, and a firm texture. Maasdam cheese has a sweet taste and a fruity aftertaste.

Made from cow's milk and aged for 4 to 12 weeks, Maasdam cheese wheels are produced as wax-coated cylinders. It is used in sandwiches, salads, and fondues. It pairs well with light, fruity white and rosé wines.
