Orangeade with lavender - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


For lavender syrup:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender

For the drink:

  • 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • Orange zest, cut into wide strips

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan, add sugar and dried lavender. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup and strain into an ice-filled pitcher.
  2. Add orange juice, cold water and orange zest to the jug and stir.
