Orange-flavored almond cookies - a detailed recipe.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a food processor, pulse the almonds until finely ground. Add 2.5 cups of sugar. Place the almond mixture in a small saucepan and place over medium-high heat. Add the liquid ingredients and cook until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- Once the mixture has cooled, shape the dough into 4-cm-high pears using tablespoonfuls, moistening your fingers with the juice. Roll each cookie in powdered or granulated sugar. Wrap each in cellophane and place in a lidded container. Let it sit for at least 3 days before serving.
