Oreo cookies are famous in almost every corner of the world. And what could be better than an Oreo cake? Sweet tooths of all ages won't be able to resist a slice of this delicate dessert. You can decorate the top of the cake with whole cookies, nestled right into the cream cheese frosting.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Chocolate sponge cake with Oreo cookies

  • 2 cups premium flour, plus extra for the pan
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp of soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 large eggs plus 1 yolk
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup of sour milk or kefir
  • 1.5 cups finely crumbled chocolate Oreo sandwich cookies

Cream cheese and biscuit filling

  • 110 g butter, softened
  • 450 g cream cheese, mashed
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 and 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1.5 cups finely crushed chocolate Oreo sandwich cookies

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray 2 x 9-inch round cake pans with cooking spray and dust with flour.
  2. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, combine the flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the eggs and yolk, one at a time, and beat until well combined. Then pour in the melted butter and mix. Then pour in sour milk and beat for about 2-3 minutes until smooth. Add the cookie crumbs and beat until evenly combined.

  3. Divide the batter evenly between the 2 pans and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pans on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Turn the cake layers out onto a wire rack and let cool completely. Spread the biscuits with the cream cheese frosting and serve.

    Curd cream with cookies


    In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth, about 3 minutes. Add salt and vanilla. Add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing until smooth. Stir in the cookie crumbs. Frost the cake layers once they have cooled.
