Ingredients:


For the chocolate syrup:
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

For one cocktail:
  • 1.5 tsp chocolate syrup
  • 1.5 tsp. low-fat cream (10% fat)
  • Carbonated water
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Prepare chocolate syrup: Combine sugar and 1.5 cups of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt, whisking until smooth. Then cool the chocolate syrup completely.
  • Step 2
  • Pour chocolate syrup into a chilled shot glass (45 ml) and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes. Slowly pour cream into the glass, then fill to the top with sparkling water. Stir before drinking.
  • Step 3
  • Store remaining chocolate syrup in a cool place for up to 6 months.
