Non-alcoholic Negroni

How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Negroni
Time: 5 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 1

The classic Negroni is all-alcoholic (equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth), but we've managed to achieve the impossible and make a non-alcoholic version! The cocktail's characteristic bitterness comes from a non-alcoholic aperitif. To mimic the herbal flavor of gin, we add a dash of grenadine for sweetness and tonic for a floral note. Don't forget the orange zest (a traditional Negroni garnish). Simply peel a thin strip with a vegetable peeler and drop it into the glass.

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml non-alcoholic gin
  • 30 ml non-alcoholic aperitif
  • 30 ml non-alcoholic vermouth
  • 7 ml grenadine syrup
  • 15 ml tonic
  • Orange zest, for serving
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
