This aromatic autumn punch is perfect for family celebrations. The base is prepared in a large bowl using non-alcoholic apple cider (unfiltered juice) with the addition of pear puree and cinnamon. Pour into mugs and top with either sparkling non-alcoholic cider (for children) or a stronger cider (for adults).

Ingredients:

  • 150 ml apple cider (unfiltered apple juice)
  • 150 gr. maple syrup
  • 80 gr. pear puree
  • 60 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 150 ml carbonated non-alcoholic cider (see preparation)
  • 150 ml of alcoholic apple cider or pumpkin ale
  • Additionally: glass drink jars with straws
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine apple cider, maple syrup, pear puree, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a large cocktail shaker and shake.
  • Step 2
  • Strain the drink into a small punch bowl with a large chunk of ice (see below) and stir until thoroughly chilled.

    If you are making punch for adults: Pour the drink into glasses with ice, top up with alcoholic apple cider or pumpkin beer.

    Non-alcoholic punch: Fill glass jars halfway with the drink, pour in sparkling apple cider and serve.

    For a large piece of ice: Freeze water in a plastic or metal bowl slightly smaller than the punch bowl.
