This refreshing cranberry punch captivates with more than just its sweet and spicy flavor. Just look at those colors! Ruby-red cranberries cover the entire surface of the drink, and frozen apple cider cubes (unfiltered apple juice) are the perfect addition, enhancing the punch's flavor as they melt.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups natural non-alcoholic apple cider (or more as needed)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups of cranberry juice
  • 1.5 cups of vodka
  • 0.5 cups orange juice
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • Special equipment: 2 ice cube trays
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Frozen Cider Ice Cubes:

    Fill two ice cube trays with apple cider and freeze for 8 hours or overnight. You may need slightly more or less cider, depending on the size of the tray.
  • Step 2
  • Cinnamon syrup:

    Meanwhile, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and 1/3 cup water in a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until the mixture begins to bubble, then remove from the heat. Let cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine cranberry juice, vodka, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, and cinnamon-syrup. Stir well and refrigerate for several hours. Before serving, add apple ice cubes and cranberries. Pour and serve.
