Prepare a juicy, thick beef burger just like they do at the popular American burger chain, Fatburger. The ground beef patty is grilled with a slice of cheese that melts deliciously on top, then placed on a toasted, crispy bun, split in half, along with onions, relish, ketchup, mustard, pickles, tomato slices, and a generous serving of lettuce. Top the burger with your favorite sauces and enjoy this filling sandwich as a lunchtime treat.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 kg ground beef
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, cut in half on the sides
  • Diced onion, relish, mustard, ketchup, pickle slices, sliced ​​tomatoes and shredded lettuce, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat and brush the grates with vegetable oil. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form it into four 1/2-inch-thick patties; use your thumb or a teaspoon to make a small indentation in the surface of each patty.
  2. Grill the patties for about 6 minutes per side for medium-rare. Top with a slice of cheese and grill for another 2 minutes to melt. Meanwhile, lightly toast the buns.

  3. Place the patties cheese side down on the buns and top with onions. relish, mustard, ketchup, pickled cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce.
