The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 85 g butter
  • 3.25 cups (600 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 very large eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp. l. instant coffee granules
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup premium flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (110 g) chopped walnuts
  • 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Grease and flour a 23cm springform tart tin. Preheat oven to 180°C.

Melt the butter in a bowl over a double boiler. Add 2 cups of chocolate chips, remove from heat, and stir until the chocolate is melted. Set aside to cool completely.
  2. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the eggs, sugar, coffee, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Stir in the cooled chocolate. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, 1 cup chocolate chips, and walnuts.

  3. Add the flour mixture to the dough and knead until combined. Place in the pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the center of the tart has risen (the surface may crack). The inside will still be quite soft. Let cool to room temperature, then remove the sides of the pan.

Melt the remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips with the cream and drizzle the mixture over the tart.
