Herbal infusions will impart a distinctive aroma to the beer. Honey and orange liqueur add sweetness to the wheat beer, while bitters enhance the beer's spicy flavor. Add orange juice to the cocktail to enhance the citrus flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tsp wildflower or orange honey
  • 45 ml orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
  • 3 dashes of bitters
  • One bottle (330 ml) of chilled Belgian wheat beer, such as Hoegaarden
  • 1 orange slice, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Mix honey with 1 tablespoon of warm water. Combine honey and orange liqueur in a tall beer glass. Add bitters.
  2. Then pour in the beer, creating a small head of foam. Garnish the cocktail with an orange slice.
