How to Make Chocolate Ganache

This chocolate ganache is perfect for decorating various desserts (such as cake, cheesecake, or brownies). It can also be used as a filling (for example, in eclairs). The ganache's flavor isn't overly sweet (depending on the chocolate used), and the corn syrup gives the ganache a pleasant sheen.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 350 g dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a small saucepan, combine the corn syrup and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and add the chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
    Exit: 1.5 tbsp.
