Scientists have repeatedly warned about the risks associated with consuming processed meat (deli meats). Excessive consumption of such products can lead to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Eating processed meats in combination with foods with a high glycemic index is especially dangerous. This combination only exacerbates health problems.

According to statistics provided by scientists, daily consumption of processed meat increases the risk of developing heart disease by forty-five percent, and the likelihood of developing diabetes by almost twenty-one percent.
