5 Ways to Organize Your Ramadan Meal Prep

Ramadan, or Ramadan, differs from ordinary days in that you have to spend all your free time preparing enormous quantities of food. Everything would be fine. The only challenge is that you have to cook on an empty stomach, because Muslims eat only before sunset and before sunrise during the holiday. This is why it's important to prepare for Ramadan in advance. The earlier you prepare, the more time you'll have with your family during the holiday.
1. Stock up on dry foods
A month before Ramadan, it's time to stock up on dry, shelf-stable foods. This includes pea flour and peas, semolina, basmati rice, chickpeas, and spices such as cardamom, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and kalonji seeds. If your pantry is stocked, you'll have fewer trips to the store during the holiday. During Ramadan, it's best to limit your shopping time—shopping on an empty stomach often leads to buying too much.
2. Buy plenty of pita in advance
Serve plenty of food at every meal. pitasWith it, people will get full much faster.
3. Clean your house
As Ramadan approaches, it's time to start cleaning. And not just the room where you're expecting guests, but the entire house.
During Lent, it's quite difficult to do labor-intensive housework. You'll only have enough energy to vacuum the floor and wipe the table. If you tidy up beforehand, you'll be able to soak up the atmosphere during the holiday, indulging in prayer and spending time with family.
Besides, you won’t be ashamed to invite friends or relatives to a clean house.
4. Fill the freezer with food
Just like the pantry, you need to stock your freezer with food in advance. It's quite difficult to get a good night's sleep during Ramadan, as you have to go to bed late after evening prayers and meals, rise early before morning prayers, and spend the day cooking. And there's no desire to go to the store. It's much better to have all the necessary ingredients at home, and all you have to do is cook them.
Some people prepare various delicious cakes and desserts in advance and freeze them. Others cook kebabs and throw them in the freezer along with eggs and naan bread. There's nothing wrong with that. If the dish doesn't lose its texture and flavor in the freezer, then it's worth freezing.
5. Create a weekly menu
Preparing for Ramadan will be easier if you know in advance what you'll be feeding your people on any given day. This will also help you avoid overeating and going hungry throughout the festive month.
To truly celebrate, you need to prepare for it in advance. The better you do this, the more time you'll have for socializing, prayer, and relaxation.
