The combination of vanilla vodka, orange, grapefruit, and lingonberry creates a refreshing, unique flavor that lives up to this cocktail's name. To fully appreciate the flavor, the drink should be well-chilled: shake with ice until the shaker fogs up, then pour into chilled glasses.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 45 ml vanilla vodka
  • 30 ml of lingonberry concentrate
  • 1-2 dashes of bitters
  • Juice of half an orange
  • Juice of half a grapefruit
  • 1/4 of a circle of fresh grapefruit or orange, or twists from the peel
  • Special equipment: cocktail glass

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Fill a shaker with ice. Add vodka, lingonberry concentrate, and bitters. Cover and shake vigorously until thoroughly mixed and chilled, about 30 seconds (when the shaker fogs up, the drink is ready).
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top up with orange and grapefruit juice. Garnish with citrus fruits. Drink.

    Note

    Look for lingonberry concentrate in specialty stores or stores that sell Scandinavian products.
