Cranberry, mint, and lime complement each other beautifully in this refreshing vodka cocktail. Muddle all the ingredients to release as much juice and essential oils as possible, and for an even more vibrant red drink when served, garnish the rim of the glass with green sugar.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 cups of ice
  • 2 tablespoons canned whole cranberries
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 90 ml white cranberry juice
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 90 ml of vodka
  • 1 wedge of lime
  • 1 teaspoon green sugar (found in the baking aisle)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place ice in a shaker, add cranberries and mint and stir.
  2. Add cranberry juice, lime juice and vodka, shake vigorously 10 times.

  3. Rub the rim of a martini glass with a lime wedge and dip it in green sugar to seal it in place. Strain the cocktail into the glass, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve.
