One of the most harmonious flavor combinations, banana and milk chocolate, makes this delicate pudding a special dessert that can be made for both holidays and everyday use. It's also quite simple to make. Pour the chocolate cream over airy cookies and banana slices and let it set. Once the cookies are soaked in the cream, the pudding will acquire its perfect consistency, making it hard to stop eating. With every spoonful, you'll want more.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 90 g milk chocolate, finely chopped
  • 30 g sugar-free chocolate, finely chopped
  • 6 large egg yolks
  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 350 gr. chocolate wafer cookies
  • 4 large bananas, peeled and sliced ​​0.5cm thick.
  • 2 cups sweet whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings, for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Whisk in the chopped chocolate and heat until melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch. Slowly stir in the chocolate mixture. Pour everything back into the saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring, until the mixture thickens.

    Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the vanilla, and pour everything into a clean bowl. Place plastic wrap on the surface of the custard and let it cool at room temperature.

  3. Spread 1 cup of frosting evenly in a 22 x 32 cm glass dish. Layer the cookies, bananas, and frosting on top. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Before serving, top the pudding with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
