This adult milkshake combines all the flavors and elements of the popular Bananas Foster dessert: vanilla ice cream, rum, caramelized bananas, and banana liqueur, which adds a richer, fuller flavor. Top with whipped cream and a cherry, and enjoy!

Ingredients for the recipe:
Banana Foster
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1cm thick slices.
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp salt
Milkshake
- 240 ml Jamaican dark rum, such as Myers's
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly thawed
- 1 cup whipped cream
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 4 maraschino cherries on stems

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Banana Foster:
Place the butter and bananas in a medium nonstick skillet and cook over medium heat until the bananas are caramelized, about 2 minutes per side. Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Remove from the heat, add the banana liqueur and stir. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt, and transfer the bananas foster to a bowl to cool. - Milkshake:
