Classic bananas foster impresses with its spectacular preparation, igniting the alcohol vapors, and exquisite flavor. But simple doesn't mean less delicious, especially with this dessert. Bananas, caramel, and creamy ice cream are the perfect combination, and you don't have to be a renowned chef to create this delicacy.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 bananas, cut into 8mm thick slices.
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup dulce de leche or your favorite caramel sauce
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Small chocolate drops, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the bananas in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Using a silicone spatula, flip the bananas over and lightly fry the other sides. Sprinkle with cinnamon and fry for another 30 seconds, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir in gently Dulce de lecheSimmer for 1 minute, then remove to cool slightly. Serve over ice cream and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
