The bananas aren't used in the popcorn sauce, but a fragrant banana extract makes a wonderful substitute. Simply mix the popped popcorn with the creamy mixture and let it dry. Melt 55g of butter, adding 2 tbsp each of brown and white sugar, 1 tbsp of dark rum, 0.5 tsp of banana extract, and a pinch each of salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add 8 cups of popcorn and stir. Place on a baking sheet and let cool completely.
