If you're a fan of sweet popcorn, try this version with cranberries, honey, vanilla, and crushed almonds. The cranberries are simmered with sugar, honey, and vanilla in butter, infusing the butter with their flavor. The popcorn is then tossed with the flavored butter and toasted in the oven. The popcorn takes on a sweet and tart flavor and is a perfect addition to your winter movie night.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 12 cups popcorn
  • 1 cup chopped toasted almonds

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. To make this cranberry popcornMelt 6 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, adding 0.5 cups of fresh cranberries, 2 tablespoons each of sugar and honey, and 0.5 teaspoon each of vanilla extract and salt. Cook until the berries burst, about 3 minutes.
  2. Toss with 1/2 cup popcorn and 1 cup chopped toasted almonds.

  3. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 160°C, stirring occasionally, until completely dry, about 8 minutes.

    Output: 1.4 kg.
