Cranberry sauce with cinnamon - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 450 g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange, zest with a vegetable peeler and squeeze out the juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled. Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
