Simple cranberry sauce for meat - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 500 g fresh cranberries, rinsed and dried
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Zest and juice of one orange

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and water. Stir. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the cinnamon stick, allspice, and nutmeg. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  2. After a while, some cranberries will burst, while others will remain whole. Add orange juice and zest, stir, and let the sauce cool before serving.
    Exit: 2.5 tbsp.
