Cranberry Slush with Whiskey - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. whiskey, preferably Crown Royal
  • 6 cups cranberry juice
  • 4.5 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, cut in half
  • Mint leaves, for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a large, freezer-safe plastic bowl, combine whiskey, 3 cups cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice, sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Mix well, cover, and freeze for 4-5 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes while cooling.
  • Step 2
  • Pour the frozen mixture into glasses, filling them three-quarters full. Then pour in the cranberry juice and sprinkle with cranberries, stir, and garnish with mint leaves.
