Fried bananas in butter, sprinkled with brown sugar, develop a light caramelized crust, soften, and add even more sweetness. This makes a wonderful dessert. Wrap the sliced bananas in foil and grill or broil. Serve as a cake, topped with a scoop of yogurt ice cream (or just frozen yogurt), and topped with toasted almonds, chocolate chips, berries, or any other toppings of your choice.

Combine 1 tablespoon brown sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Slice 4 bananas in half lengthwise; brush with 1 tablespoon melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
