Chili con queso (Spanish) chile con queso Chili con queso (or chili con queso) is a Mexican cheese dip, most often made with melted cheese and chili peppers. It's delicious, and your guests will always appreciate it. To make a Christmas chili con queso, simply add some bright colors to the dip. Stir in diced red and green peppers, dip corn chips into the dip, and enjoy the creamy, savory flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 kg of processed cheese with the taste of white queso blanco cheese, cut into 1 cm cubes.
  • 2 cans of chopped tomatoes with chili peppers
  • 1 can chopped pimiento peppers
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the cheese in a saucepan and melt over medium heat. Add the chopped tomatoes and chili peppers, pimiento peppers, and jalapeño peppers, and stir. Transfer to a warming pan.
  2. Serve the cheese sauce with tortilla chips.
