This simple and delicious blueberry sauce is ready in just 15 minutes with minimal ingredients. Fresh blueberries are mixed with vanilla sugar and a spoonful of lemon juice and simmered until thickened. The subtle citrus notes and vanilla aroma, combined with the blueberries, create a rich flavor profile. The strained sauce can be used in a variety of desserts: drizzled over ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or incorporated into cake and cheesecake fillings. It's all up to your imagination.

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the blueberries and vanilla extract. Add 1 cup of water and lemon juice and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the mixture begins to thicken.
- Remove from heat and strain through a fine sieve. Cool to room temperature, cover, and refrigerate.
