Gin lovers will love this cocktail with dry vermouth and champagne. Added with freshly squeezed lemon juice, it's sparkling, bubbly, and refreshing. Served in champagne flutes, it's perfect for special occasions.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Cocktail

  • 220g simple sugar syrup, see recipe below
  • 180 ml of gin
  • 60 ml. dry vermouth
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 240 ml of champagne
  • 4 twists of lemon zest

  • 1 cup of sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine syrup, gin, vermouth, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into 4 champagne flutes. Top each glass with champagne and serve garnished with a lemon twist.
  2. Simple sugar syrup:
    Yield: 1.5 cups

    Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Seal tightly and refrigerate. Can be stored for up to 1 month.
