Blood orange and lemon juice add vibrant color and citrusy freshness to this festive cocktail.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 1/2 cup chilled Cava sparkling wine
- 2 blood oranges, plus 1 thin slice for garnish
- A little freshly squeezed lemon juice
- A little bitters

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Using a citrus juicer, squeeze the juice from the blood oranges into a bowl fitted with a sieve. Use the back of a spoon to mash the remaining pulp in the sieve to extract all the juice. You should have about 1/4 cup of juice.
Pour the blood orange juice, lemon juice, bitters, and chilled Cava into a small pitcher. Stir gently. Pour into chilled champagne flutes. Garnish with a thin slice of blood orange.
