Cava is a sparkling wine made from Parellada and Xarelho grapes. This blend gives Champagne a pleasant acidity and tropical fruit aromas. Spanish sangria made with Cava (literally, "cave"), with the addition of peach brandy and berries, looks more presentable and sophisticated. Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl and serve at a party or special event.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:

1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 bottles (750 ml each) of well-chilled cava (Spanish sparkling wine)
  • 2 tbsp. well-chilled sparkling mineral water
  • 1 cup well-chilled peach brandy
