A recipe for a wine drink made with fruit in a slow cooker – hot sangria with cinnamon.


Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles (750 ml each) of red wine
  • 2 bottles (750 ml each) of white wine
  • 1 tbsp. brandy
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 cups frozen pitted cherries
  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup simple syrup (1/2 cup sugar + 1/2 cup water)
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine red and white wine, brandy, orange, cherries and peaches, cinnamon sticks, and syrup in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then switch to the warm setting and keep the sangria warm until serving. Pour into glasses.
