Recipe for making Indian lassi drink using yogurt.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Salted version:

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 3 cups of ice water
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Sweet option:

  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2.5 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cups ice-cold sparkling water
  • 1 cup mango puree

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Salted version: Beat the yogurt until smooth and gradually add ice water. Season with salt and pepper.

    Sweet option: Whisk the yogurt and sugar until smooth, then gradually add ice-cold sparkling water and mango puree. (The drink will foam like a milkshake.)
