Sage Limeade - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Syrup

  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 1.5 cups of water

Lemonade

  • 2 cups sugar syrup
  • 1.5 cups lime juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • Fresh sage leaves, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare the syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stove and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves. Remove the saucepan from the stove and let the syrup cool completely.
  2. Prepare the drink: Combine sugar syrup, lime juice, lemon juice, and water in a pitcher. Pour the drink into glasses filled with ice and garnish with sage leaves.
