Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan and add sugar. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup and pour into an ice-filled pitcher. Add 2 cups of cold water, lime and lemon juice, and stir.
- Place 2 lime slices and 2 mint leaves into 8 glasses, crush lightly with a pestle. Add ice and top with limeade.
