Mint limeade - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Syrup

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water

Limad

  • 16 lime slices
  • 16 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups sugar syrup
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 1.5 cups freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan and add sugar. Place the saucepan on the stove and heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup and pour into an ice-filled pitcher. Add 2 cups of cold water, lime and lemon juice, and stir.
  2. Place 2 lime slices and 2 mint leaves into 8 glasses, crush lightly with a pestle. Add ice and top with limeade.
