The sherry cobbler is a popular American drink with a nearly two-century history, introduced to the world by its appearance in Charles Dickens's novel, "The Life and Adventures of Martin Chalswit." The main ingredients of this cocktail are sherry, plenty of berries, and crushed ice. To make a blackberry-mint cobbler, you'll need a berry base of pureed blackberries, sugar, and fresh mint. Pour sherry over it, add ice, and enjoy the refreshing combination of vibrant flavors, sipping through a straw.
