Time: 1 hour 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 6 cocktails

The mint julep is traditionally associated with the American South. It's a blend of bourbon, simple syrup, and mint flavor. This cocktail is served with plenty of crushed ice, which keeps the drink icy. For this purpose, juleps were once served in special pewter or silver glasses, which kept the drink slightly frozen for a long time and prevented the ice from melting quickly. Nowadays, juleps are increasingly served in regular tall glasses.

In addition to being a pleasant refreshment on a hot day, this cocktail will also delight you with the flavor bouquet of sweet and spicy bourbon.
