A mint julep is a refreshing combination of ice, mint, and bourbon, perfect for summer parties. This recipe makes a large batch for the whole crowd. Pour into glasses filled with crushed ice and enjoy!
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine 2 cups of fresh mint and 1.5 cups each of sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour; strain the mint syrup and refrigerate.
- Combine 3 cups of bourbon with 1-1.5 cups of mint syrup. Pour into 6 glasses filled with crushed ice; garnish with mint sprigs.
