Quick and easy chocolate milk toffee with mint candies

A very simple way to make chocolate milk toffee. All you need is a can of condensed milk and dark chocolate. Melt them together, pour into a mold, and refrigerate for a couple of hours. To give the toffee a special touch, sprinkle it with crushed peppermint candies. If this is a Christmas treat, you can use red-and-white striped candies. Cut the toffee into pieces of your desired size and serve it as part of a festive dessert table or simply with a cup of tea or coffee.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Line an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the chocolate chips and condensed milk over low heat, stirring until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the surface. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil from the pan and peel off the toffee. Cut into small squares.
