Monkey bread is a sweet pastry that's especially enjoyable to share with friends. It's baked from numerous balls held together and served in the center of the table for each guest to pinch off a ball, dip it in the sweet sauce, and enjoy. Children are especially delighted with this treat. This simple monkey bread is baked with ready-made bun dough, which comes packaged as buns. Each piece is rolled in sugar and orange zest and placed in a baking pan. The resulting bread acquires a delightful citrus-caramel flavor and aroma. Serve with strawberry coulis for dipping.
