Cream cheese pancakes with strawberry sauce

How to Make - Cream Cheese Pancakes with Strawberry Sauce
Kitchen:American,
Menu:Breakfast,
Time: 30 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 8 pancakes

In 2007, recipe developers at the American restaurant chain IHOP (International House of Pancakes) did the unthinkable: they sliced up an entire cheesecake, added it to pancake batter, and topped the finished stack with strawberry sauce. When you're making 700 million pancakes annually, sometimes you have to mix things up. The new menu item was a huge hit with customers. The only ones out of luck were those watching their weight: one serving contains a whopping 1,100 calories! Our advice: just eat one or two pancakes rather than the entire stack.
