Nine-year-old Gabriella from Richmond, Virginia, says she already feels called to work in the culinary world. She's off to a great start: her brilliant French toast with strawberry cheesecake filling helped her win the "Top Chef America Kids" competition. "Cooking and baking are my passion," Gabriella admits. "I love seeing the smiles on people's faces when they taste my food."

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 10 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. l. brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 220 g of cream cheese
- 0.5 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 2/3 cup diced strawberries + extra for garnish
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- Powdered sugar and maple syrup, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or spray a 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray and set aside. Cut 1-inch-wide, 1-inch-deep holes in each bun. In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Dip each bun in the egg mixture and place in the pan.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese with lemon zest, honey, and jam using a mixer. Stir in the strawberries. Transfer the mixture to a pastry bag and fill each hole in the buns. Dust the buns with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops of the buns are crisp and golden brown. Serve with strawberries, dusted with powdered sugar, and drizzled with maple syrup.
