1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Prepare the oranges: Peel the oranges, remove the white pith, and divide into segments, then cut off the membrane and remove the seeds.

    Place peeled oranges in a salad bowl.

    Squeeze the remaining film into a separate bowl to extract about a glass of orange juice. Reserve the juice for the syrup.

  • In a small saucepan, prepare the orange syrup: Bring the orange juice, honey, and ginger to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer until thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Cool the syrup completely, remove the ginger.
  • Step 3
  • Prepare the apples: Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core and seeds. Slice the apples thinly and place them in a salad bowl with the oranges.
  • Step 4
  • Drizzle the apple and orange salad with syrup.
