Brown Betty (eng. Brown Betty Brown Betty (also known as Mulatto Betty) is a fruit and berry dessert with a crispy center, very similar to pie, but much more tender and juicy. If you like to serve ice cream with warm pastries, there's no better choice than Brown Betty. The delicious filling of tender baked apples and blackberries with a pleasantly contrasting streusel of crispy waffle cones and almonds makes the perfect companion to a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream.
