If you've never tried cornbread, start with this recipe—you won't be disappointed! It's incredibly easy to make: no kneading required. Just mix the ingredients, pour into a greased pan, and in 20 minutes, the fragrant bread will be ready. Appetizingly golden, soft, fluffy, and pleasantly moist, the bread is filled with the warm flavor of corn and butter. Cornbread is a traditional American baked good, a legacy of Native Americans. Try it the way it's eaten in the Southern states—with meat, stews, and soups—or the way it's enjoyed in the Northern states—with syrup and other sweet toppings.
