When you're craving a delicious cheesecake with a luxurious combination of chocolate and cherry, but without the extra effort, this simple, on-the-go option is your savior. Cream cheese is mixed with crushed Oreo cookies and cherry pie filling, and everything is ladled into cookie bags. Delicious and easy. Kids will especially love this dessert, as they can make it themselves!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 x 30g packages of chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreo
  • 110 g of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 0.5 cup cherry pie filling

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Open the cookie packages and fold back the edges.
  2. Place the cream cheese in a medium bowl and stir with a spatula until smooth. Add the sour cream, powdered sugar, and salt.

  3. Stir in the cookies, then divide the mixture into cookie bags. Seal each bag with a paper clip. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Add cherry pie filling to bags before serving.
