If you're hosting a Halloween party, welcome your guests with a glass of "blood." A spoonful of grenadine will add a bloody hue to the already red cherry punch. For an alcoholic version, add whiskey (bourbon or rye) and a splash of orange bitters. Instead of ice, chill the punch with frozen cherries, and its flavor will remain just as vibrant and rich.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 liters of cherry or cranberry-cherry juice
  • 1 liter of ginger ale
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups frozen cherries
  • 1 orange

  1. In a large punch bowl, combine 2 quarts cherry juice, 1 quart ginger ale, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon grenadine. Add 2 cups frozen cherries and 1 sliced ​​orange.
  2. For the alcoholic version, add 2 tbsp. bourbon or rye whiskey and 3 drops of orange bitters.
