Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of blood orange juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup natural cherry juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (2 to 3 lemons)
  • 1 cup tequila or mezcal (optional)
  • Red food gel for decoration

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Make simple syrupCombine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a medium bowl and refrigerate, about 1 hour.
  • Step 2
  • In a pitcher, combine orange juice, cherry juice, lemon juice, cooled syrup, and 2 cups of cold water. Chill for at least 30 minutes.

  • Before serving, add tequila, if using. Decorate the rim of the pitcher with red gel icing, letting some drip down. Serve the cocktail in glasses with ice.
