It's no wonder Guy Fieri named his cocktail the "Big Island." The combination of spiced rum, elderflower liqueur, and mango and pineapple juices imbues it with an incredible tropical flavor. The drink is perfect for summer parties, and in winter, it will remind you of a hot vacation.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 60 ml white rum
  • 15 ml elderflower liqueur, such as St. Germaine
  • 60 ml. pineapple juice
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 30 ml mango juice or mango nectar
  • Ice
  • Spiced rum
  • 7 ml of grenadine
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Orange slice for decoration
  • Pineapple wedge (unpeeled) for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine spirits and juices in a shaker. Shake well, then strain over ice into a tall glass.
