This aromatic punch made with black tea and Battavia Arak rum, lime, and aromatic spices is a perfect choice for any party or holiday, especially fall and winter. Serve well-chilled in a large bowl with ice.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 450 ml freshly squeezed lime juice, seedless, from about 20 limes
- 900 g of Demerara sugar
- 2 liters of warm black tea
- 1.5 l. Rum "Battavia-arak"
- A piece of ice
- Freshly grated nutmeg

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine the lime juice and remaining lime juice with sugar in a 5-liter container. Add the tea and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, 2–3 minutes. Add the Batavian arak and stir. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Strain the punch into a punch bowl over a large chunk of ice and serve with freshly grated nutmeg.
