This refreshing cocktail, made with freshly squeezed carrot juice, is paired with fresh ginger and vodka, and a splash of apple juice adds a touch of sweetness. Try it the morning after a night out to help cure a hangover and fully appreciate the healing properties of ginger. Ginger helps with upset stomachs, relieves headaches, and treats colds.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 30 ml of vodka
  • 90 ml carrot juice, preferably freshly squeezed
  • 30 ml apple juice
  • 2 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Crush the ginger slices in the bottom of a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients.
